Short Description: The concept of Ocean Space Center is chosen for the renewal of the marine science laboratories at SINTEF Ocean and the Department of Marine Technology at NTNU in Trondheim. Statsbygg is responsible for the implementation of the Ocean Space Center project, which will be carried out in close collaboration with SINTEF and NTNU. Ocean Space Center will be located at Tyholt in Trondheim, Norway, and the laboratories will consist of wet laboratories such as the Ocean Basin Laboratory and Sea Towing Basin Laboratory, as well as dry laboratories as a construction and machine laboratory. The wet laboratories will be used to test fixed and floating installations and structures in different wave, power and wind conditions.
