Instructions/Remarks: Tender should quote with Price variation clause given below [Offers with different Price Variation Clause or Fixed Price will be summarily REJECTED]. 1. Prices of finishedproduct in this Tender is based on basic price of Aluminium Ingot IC20 of M/s NALCO percent u2019s website/price circular available one month prior to the date of opening ofthe tender. 2. For the purpose of Price Variation Formula, a tank will be deemed to consist of 74.5 Kgs. 3. During the currency of the contract, for every increase / decrease inthe prices of Aluminium CG ingot, the price of the Aluminium water tank will be increased or decreased in the ratio of 1:1, i.e., for every increase / decrease in the prices ofAluminium CG Ingots by Re.1.00 per kg, the prices of Aluminium water tank will be increased / decreased by Rs.74.50 only. 4. The prices to be taken for the purpose ofworking out the adjustment will be that prevailing 30 days prior to the date on which the said lot was offered for inspection and as indicated in the Inspection Note, when thematerials are to be inspected by third party like RITES / RDSO etc. 5. No adjustment in contract price will be made if the variation up or down in the aforesaid base rate ofabove raw material is less than Rs.100 per Metric Ton. Variation up or down taking place within the stipulated delivery period will be Rly percent u2019s account. For variationbeyond the delivery period originally stipulated in the purchase order, upward variation will be to firm percent u2019s account and the benefit of downward variation if any, should be passed on to Railway without preference to any time limit.
