Zoo Serengeti energetic quality assurance Project description: As part of the Zoo Future 2030+ master planning, a holistic energy and sustainability concept was developed for Frankfurt Zoo. It integrates the use of sustainable materials optimizing comfort for users and minimizing energy consumption. Passive strategies are pursued intensively. A way is shown how the zoo can become climate neutral in the foreseeable future. The energy concept is this Tender attached. The holistic energy and sustainability concept from the master planning is the basis for the Serenget project - and thus also for this performance profile. The special requirement of this task is the energy and Climate concept for the large-volume Serengeti Hall with a large transparent facade, different climate zones and requirements from and through water surfaces, animals, plants and people, which should be ventilated naturally as much as possible.
