Between August 12th - August 23, 2024, the DeZIM is offering curious participants various courses in a summer school on the DeZIM premises. Among other things, a two-day course on web scraping will be offered in person. This course aims to give participants new...e Get to know methods for obtaining research data and become familiar with their application. The number of participants in this course is limited to 20 people. We are looking for a speaker to conduct the workshop, which should include the following points: Introduction to the functionsof web scraping and crawling, introduction to HTML basics, Python as software for web scraping, scraping of static and dynamic websites, dealing with "anti-crawling" measures, examples and exercises. The speaker is responsible for the content preparation, complete implementation and fashionration and follow-up of the workshop. For this activity, DeZIM provides a gross remuneration (fee contract) of EUR 3, 000.00. Any costs incurred (e.g. travel, overnight stay) for carrying out the workshop are not included in this amount and kcan be billed separately.
