Tenders are invited for Water Supply Network:- 435km of secondary and tertiary network reconstruction and expansion in 16 target zones of the city of Jos. A total of 270km of secondary network need to be reconstructed and/or and range from DN 40 to DN 280 in pipe diameters (mostly HDPE). In addition, 165km of tertiary lines (house connection), ranging mainly from DN20 to DN32 also need to be constructed/reconstructed. - Transmission Main: Reconstruction of a 0.7km (700m) Ductile Iron DN 300 transmission main - Individual Water Meters: Installation of over 38, 000 individual mechanical water meters, including fittings and water meter boxes. - District Metered Areas: Installation of 6 bulk water meters and 10 isolation valves in order to create 3 pilot DMA-s inside the water supply network of the city. - Miango Booster Pumping Station: Three pumps with flow capacity of 560 m3/h and a head of 26.5 m. All existing control cabinets, electric circuits for the pumps, Change-Over Switch gears. A two-ton overhead crane including control panels and electric circuits. General rehabilitation works including painting, rehabilitation of the toilet including roofing, replacing windows, completing perimeter fence iron rails, and providing steps for pumping station entrance. Columns to support the new overhead crane.. Lighting of the building.
