The Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin intends to build a pioneering new building for the German Heart Center of the Charité (DHZC) in the southwestern area of the Virchow-Klinikum (CVK) campus. The planned new building will also include, among other things Central sterile supply (CSSD) and the central emergency room (ZNA) were housed and a helipad was built on the roof of the building. The total usable area for the new DHZC building is approx. 29, 800 m² with a gross floor area of approx. 75, 600 m² and a gross volume of approx. 355, 000 m³. It is planned to construct the new building as a high-rise building with 16 upper floors and 2 basement floors. The building will receive sustainability certification according to the system of the German Society for Sustainable construction (DGNB) aimed for at the “Gold” level. As part of the construction work, wall hydrant systems must be built to ensure preventative fire protection and to ensure safe construction and building operation. The The measure includes the delivery, assembly and commissioning of suitable wall hydrants including the necessary pipes, fittings and connections. All facilities must be set up permanently in accordance with applicable standards and regulations to be kept functional and ready for use until acceptance.
