VMware License Purchase and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Implementation Service The subject of the tender is the acquisition of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) licenses including support/subscription as well as the provision of professional services Implementation services over 24 months. The procurement should be designed as an alternative option model so that the two license variants used as a basis can be offered and evaluated in a comparable manner. The University Hospital Heidelberg (UKHD) operates an extensive virtualized server and infrastructure environment based on VMware technologies. The VMware platform provides a central component for the operation of business-critical systems and applications within the Data center infrastructure. In addition, VMware products are used in the areas of virtualization and network and security segmentation. To ensure proper operation, license compliance and procurement of Vendor support, security updates and product updates require the purchase of appropriate VMware licenses or VMware subscription and support services.
