On behalf of the Autobahn GmbH, DEGES German Unit Fern Roads Planning and Construction GmbH is planning the replacement new Talbruecke Uttrichshausen along the BAB 7. The valley bridge carries the BAB 7 over the town of Uttrichshausen as well as over the Schmidtwasser, the district road K938 and the state road L3430. The existing structure is located in the Kalbach district and extends over 880 m of route kilometersr 580, 520 on the side of the Kassel abutment (north) to km 581, 400 at the Wuerzburg abutment (south). According to the calculation, the structure still has a remaining useful life until 2026.
The existing structure is to be replaced by a new building with 2 lanes in both directions as a bridge structure. LSoundproofing systems must be taken into account as part of the structure. As part of the measure, the roadway will be widened from 2 x 11.50 m to 2 x 12.50 m. In the course of the replacement new building, the gradient will be changed.
