The subject of the issueThe aim is to supply rail vehicles (two-system vehicles) with electric drives in sufficient numbers for scheduled use in the network of the West Regional Tangent of the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) from December 2028 as part of an availability model (onefinally maintenance, servicing, supply of spare parts and additional services, such as external cleaning). The useful life of the vehicles should be 30 years. The number of vehicles required for basic service (regular operation including operating reserve) is expected to be around 25protrude. In addition, there is a maintenance reserve and, if necessary, other vehicles necessary to meet the availability requirements.
