Description: The Samtgemeinde Zeven intends to hand over the annual amount of the sewage sludge resulting from the wastewater treatment at the municipal sewage treatment plant (a total of approx. 5, 000 t OS). The sewage sludge is digested sludge, which is currently dewatered to a dry matter content of 20… 25% using a chamber filter press. The sludge is conditioned by adding polymers and an iron (III) chloride solution. The continuously generated sewage sludge must be removed regularly for the duration of the contract on a maximum of 2 weekdays to be determined in advance. There is an average of 100 t of original substance (OS) per calendar week for disposal and recycling.
