The construction project involves the conversion and renovation of the existing listed school auditorium of the technical-commercial vocational training center, Am Mügelsberg 1 in Saarbrücken. The existing auditorium is to be converted into a meeting place. There will be no changes to the rooms in the basement, only the building technology will be adjusted. The entrance with foyer and event room is on the ground floor. The foyer will be converted into a lounge area with catering by installing a counter system. A wheelchair-accessible toilet will be installed in the vestibule. The staircase, which is currently open to the foyer, is separated by a glass wall with fire protection requirements. This separation will also occur on the floor above. Here the gallery is being upgraded for fire protection and made usable.
