Building planning

University of Leipzig, Medical Faculty, New Construction Transfer Hub for Effect Impact is planned to build a research on the development of active ingredients for new modalities (proteins, antibodies, vaccines, peptides, cell therapies) and traditional drug development (small molecules))With the aim of establishing innovative methods for computer-aided, AI-controlled design of protein therapeutics and the transfer of existing international research into new medication.

The measure is funded from the European JTF, the "fund for a fair transition(Just Transition Fund - JTF). The aim is to mitigate negative effects of the energy transition in various regions of Saxony, including the Central German territory (https://www.xn--europa-frdert-sachsen-oec.de/de/eu-fonds/jtf). The funding basis is the funding guideline VWV JTF 2021 of theSMWKKT.
