As part of the preparation for the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Dakar 2026, the United Nations System (UNS) in Senegal, under the leadership of UNFPA as leader of the Youth Task Force, plans to organize a major joint initiative entitled Journey of Youth and the SDGs. This activity aims to capitalize on the dynamic and sporting enthusiasm to respond in an innovative way to the crucial challenges facing Senegalese youth (which represents more than 75% of the population). population under 35 years old according to the ANSD).
