Background and general information on the work The United Nations building in Guinea-Bissau was built in the 1990s and has not undergone any physical evaluation for its rehabilitation since that time. Throughout these years, the materials and construction materials used have suffered from the effects of time and use.sation, which explains the need to undertake today a global intervention of the structure. It is for this reason that the United Nations Development Program - UNDP on behalf of all the agencies decided to launch a call for `` offer to the design office candidates for the complete rehabilitation of this building. III. Goals andscope of the service - Missions The objective of this consultation is torecruit a consulting firm responsible for carrying out comprehensive studies for the rehabilitation of the United Nations Building, in order to propose corrective, adequate and lasting measures, and produce the technical documents and tools related to the implementation of said measures. 1.Make a complete study for the rehabilitation of the United Nations Building; 2. Highlight the quantitative and estimated quantities of work by trade, 3. Prepare submissions to CAD for construction work and building construction; 4. Prepare the technical specifications serving as the basis for the bidn to CAD; 5. Prepare the DAO of service and supply works, analyze, verify the studies and the technical specifications serving as bases for the elaboration of the DAO; Scope of the service: The provider`s activities will be broken down as follows: • Phase 0 - Analysis of the consistency between the theoretical data reported and thesituation on the ground. This phase should make it possible to compare the data reported theoretically and the physical analysis of the situation.
