Communication services to support the conversion project on Marktstrasse Oberhausen The city of Oberhausen is tendering communications services to support the Marktstrasse conversion project. The project is part of the urban development funding project “Brückenschlag” and forms its central flagship project for the sustainable development of the city center of Alt-Oberhausen. The aim of the renovation is to reposition Marktstrasse as an urban, multifunctional urban space and to increase its attractiveness as a place for trade, living, To sustainably strengthen gastronomy, culture and encounters. The basis for this is the adopted usage and design concept as well as the updated integrated action concept (IHK). The planning includes the functional and design upgrade of the entire Marktstrasse with a differentiated development of the Upper, Central and Lower Marktstrasse as well as measures for climate resilience and improving the quality of stay.
