Water meters must be included in the Register of the state system for ensuring the uniformity of measurements of the Republic of Kazakhstan and comply with the requirements of the Rules for the selection, installation and operation of water metering devices in water supply and sewerage systems, approved by order of the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 28, 2015 No. 621 (hereinafter referred to as the Rules). 2. Water meters must have a nominal diameter (DN) of 25 mm. 3. Water meters must comply with metrological class C in accordance with GOST R 50193.1-92 (ISO 4064/1-77) and water flow rates corresponding to Appendix 2 to the Rules. 4. Water meters must be supplied complete with means of remote data transmission compatible with the IIS Karaganda Su LLP in order to comply with paragraph 22 of the Rules, namely to ensure remote collection of data on water consumption from water meters on a daily basis.
