TU Dresden - Award of an innovation partnership for the vehicle technology testing center and the Smart Mobility Lab The Dresden University of Technology (TU Dresden) is striving for an innovative partnership in the field of automotive technology. The aim of the partnership is to improve the legal and technical framework and, above all, the use and innovation potential at the TU Dresden. The partnership is intended to become a joint flagship project for automotive technology. A cooperation with an engineering company is therefore planned. The basis for the cooperation is a contractually regulated one Industrial partnership intended. The innovation partnership is scheduled to run from February 1, 2026 to January 31, 2038. It can be done by either party with a notice period of 6 months on January 31st. of the following year. The chair Automotive Technology (LKT) at TU Dresden operates several test benches for testing and analyzing vehicles in the Vehicle Technology Testing Center (FVZ) and in the Smart Mobility Lab (SML) at TUD. The economic operation of these test benches should be carried out within the framework of the planned innovation partnership.
