The London Borough of Hackney invites eligible organisations to attend a virtual Market Engagement Event regarding the forthcoming procurement exercise for the Tree of Life in Schools programme. The contract is expected to start in early April 2026, for a duration of two (2) years.
This programme is a nationally recognised, award-winning intervention that delivers culturally appropriate, peer-led mental health prevention and early help for African, Caribbean, and mixed heritage young people (11-17) in City and Hackney secondary schools.
The programme is run in a partnership model between the community and voluntary sector, schools and mental health services.
Please note, this procurement will be limited to organisations that meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be a Hackney-based organisation.
- Have demonstrable experience in running youth-led schemes/interventions.
During the Market Engagement event, Council officers and Young People involved in the programme will deliver a brief presentation to outline the specific requirements for sustaining the success of the programme. An overview of the procurement process will also be provided.
Attendees will be invited to participate in a Question & Answer session at the end of the presentation to raise queries around the programme or the tender.
