Travel Agency Authorization for GIZ Office Rwanda
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a federally-owned enterprise which assists the German government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation. GIZ has been in Rwanda for over 30 years. The primary objectives between the Government of Rwanda and the Federal Republic of Germany are poverty reduction and promotion of sustainable development. To achieve these objectives, GIZ Rwanda is active in the sectors of Decentralization and Good Governance, Economic Development and Employment Promotion, Energy and peace building and conflict transformation.
As a company operating internationally in the field of sustainable development, it is both GIZmandate and mission to hold corporate sustainability as a priority. GIZ aims to respond to increasingly extensive reporting requirements and higher expectations on the part of its current and future clients by systematically improving its sustainability performance and ensuring transparency in the way we present this performance to the world.
In order to implement the different programs, GIZ RW needs to travel in Africa and to Europe and GIZ RW like to request interested travel agencies to submit your Expression of Interest mentioning the following:
Discount on African and European Flights booking

Charge for fixed date flight (that is not pre-ponded nor postponed)

Cancellation Charge

Other services such as vehicle its terms and conditions

Airport to City: Taxi Booking

Hotel Booking

Company Profile along with its Branch Office Information

Extra charge, if applicable, buying the online ticket

Copy of firm registration certificates, Income Tax, VAT and Tax clearance certificates last year and TIN certificates

Copy of IATA approval certificate

Copy of national travel approval certificate

List of technical support team

Previous experiences with other international organization

If the supplier is the authorized General Sales Agent (GSA) of any Airlines, please submit the copy the document(s).

Commitment of schedule of price and discount

Prequalification
The prequalification of Travel Agency shall be:
Having minimum of five year experiences in the relevant field.

Being a Member of International Association of Travel Agents (IATA) as well as National Association of Travel Agents.

Being fully equipped with the knowledge in travel field having worldwide network.

Having modern computerized ticketing system and have ability of issuing tickets for the maximum number of airlines.

Getting the authorization certificate from the central Bank to accept payment in Foreign Currency, if required by the national law.

Putting their initials and seal of the firm in each page of this document and submit it along with EOI as bidders.
