Tenders are invited for Transport Services for Mosquito Nets Impregnated with Long-Term Insecticides for SANRU ASBL / S2.

1. THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO (DRC) has obtained a financial allocation from the Global Fund under the Malaria grant for the period 2018-2020.



2. SANRU ASBL, has been designated as Principal Recipient (PR) for the acquisition, management and distribution of a portion of the pharmaceutical, medical and non-medical products for the malaria grant.



3. In accordance with the implementation plan, SANRU asbl proposes to use a portion of this allocation, estimated at approximately USD 5, 000, 000 (US $ 5 million), for all axes included, to make payments authorized for the long-lasting insecticide-treated mosquito net (LLIN) market from its warehouses in KINSHASA, KALEMIE and LUBUMBASHI to health areas in provinces selected for LLIN mass distribution campaigns for the second half of 2019, namely Tshuapa, Mai-Ndombe, Tanganyika, Haut-Lomami and Haut-Katanga.

4. SANRU vzw wishes to select service providers for all the types of transport requested and thus invites, by this tender notice, interested candidates to submit a closed sealed offer for the transport and the delivery of LLINs, for one or more lots, according to the terms of reference. The technical capabilities of the mission as well as the unit costs of the offers will serve as a basis for the selection of service providers.

This contract is for 5 separate lots. The tenderer may bid for one or more lots. The attributions of the markets will be made by axes within each lot.



5. The offer will include a technical proposal and a financial proposal, placed under separate sealed envelopes and must reach us by 2019 at 11 am very precise (Kinshasa local time).

6. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the carriers wishing to attend, in the premises of SANRU asbl, on 16 May 2019 at 11.30 am sharp (local time of Kinshasa).

7. Bidders must meet qualification criteria regarding their technical capabilities and experience. They will have to have:

(a) Relevant experience in DR Congo of at least three (3) years from January 1, 2016 in the transportation and delivery of pharmaceutical, medical and non-medical products;

(b) A motor car and / or a fleet, either owned or leased with valid contract (s), suitable for the transport of the products concerned;

(c) a valid all-risk insurance for the cart and the fleet.
