Tracking and temperature management The University Medical Center Frankfurt is striving for a hospital-wide tracking solution for patients and assets (e.g. medical devices and beds). This solution is intended to use the existing infrastructure to minimize additional Having to install hardware. This document describes the requirements for the solution (patient tags, device tags, accuracy, user interface, locators, ...). It is a gradual expansion of the solution, starting with cardiology and extending further Hospital areas and use cases provided. In addition, the same infrastructure and software will be used for a hospital-wide digital temperature management solution. The requirements for temperature management become also described in this document. The solution for temperature management must also be offered.
