Tiling and drywall work In the existing apartments, floor plan adjustments are made using lightweight construction for the kitchens and bathrooms based on the installation shaft concept. The renovation includes the replacement of all installation lines and Shaft walls, the installation of new sanitary objects and fittings, renewal of floor and wall coverings and the installation of new doors. General building description The residential building with commercial use as a silent business on the ground floor is located in the Bornholmer Straße 8 in 10439 Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. It was built in 1906 as a closed masonry building typical of the Wilhelminian era. Due to the S-shaped extension of the building, the front building is divided around two inner courtyards, the 1st. Side wing, the transverse building and the 2nd side wing with one back house. The external facades and passageways are insulated to reduce heat loss. All windows / balcony doors will be replaced with new plastic insulating windows in accordance with the Energy information exchanged by the building physicist. According to the ventilation concept according to DIN 1946-6, all windows/balcony doors in the apartments are equipped with sufficient supply air elements (window rebate ventilators and ALDs in the front building) for controlled air exchange.
