This acquisition is justified by the need to expand the storage capacity of the DVR currently in operation, which has insufficient space to adequately retain the images captured by the video monitoring system, maintaining history approximate average of just 10 (ten) days.; Storage limitations compromise the effectiveness of the security system, especially in situations that require consultation of previous recordings for the purpose of investigating incidents and responding to requests. administrative, internal audits or requests from competent authorities.; Therefore, replacing the current hard drive with a HD with a capacity of 10 TB appears to be a necessary and proportional technical measure, guaranteeing a longer period of image retention, improvement in information management and adequate continuity of monitoring services, in compliance with the principles of planning, efficiency and public interest provided for in current legislation.
