1Context New(Addendum)
The Autonomous Sinking Fund was created by Presidential Decree NO 85/1176 of August 28 1985 Public establishment whose objective is to make the monetary and financial market in Cameroon reliable and secure. Its main missions are as follows: - Management of public loan funds of the State and public bodies; parapublics and their correspondents;- Provide to the Government of the elements necessary for the development of the country's debt policy;- Research, study and negotiate the external and internal financing of the State, in liaison with the ministerial departments concerned;- Participate in the monetary and financial market Therefore, after nearly four (04) decades of operation, the CAA has produced a large mass of documents estimated at approximately 3000 (three thousand) linear meters. Faced with this large mass of unprocessed documents, the CAA is confronted with problems of space management, access to documents and information, conservation, preservation and security of documentary heritage Thus, faced with the urgency imposed by the requirements linked to performance and modern management, the Director General of the CAA has adopted a certain number of measures in order to provide appropriate solutions. This concerns in particular the documentary audit, the training of staff, the acquisition of materials and equipment, and above all the mass processing of archives from 1985 to 2026 by a firm or a group of Archival experts.
