The Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme (GEF-SGP) invites eligible indigenous Ugandan NGOs, CBOs, and CSOs to submit proposals to serve as the National Catalytic Organisation (NCO) for Phase II of the Global Support Initiative to territories and areas conserved by Indigenous Peoples and local communities (ICCA-GSI). The project includes two phases: Phase I involves conducting a national ICCA baseline assessment and developing the Uganda ICCA-GSI Phase II Strategy, while Phase II focuses on facilitating strategy implementation and strengthening capacities of IPLCs and grantees.
