The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) is seeking Validation and Verification Bodies (VVBs) to provide consultancy services for the validation and verification of carbon projects under the Accelerating Sustainable and Clean Energy Access Transformation (ASCENT) program. The scope includes validating ASCENT countries' carbon programs according to the Energy Access Program (EAP) Standard developed by the Global Carbon Council (GCC). The selected VVB will conduct assessments to confirm that proposed projects meet GCC requirements for registration, including desk reviews, emission reductions calculations, and site visits.
