Tendering procedure “Rhein-Erft-Bahn” (RB 27) The subject of this award is transport services in local rail passenger transport (SPNV) in the area of responsibility of the SPNV authorities on the basis of a gross transport contract for the 'Rhein-Erft-Bahn' (RB 27) for a period starting from the international timetable change in December 2028, probably on December 10, 2028. The transport contract has a basic term of 6 years, starting from December 10th, 2028 to December 9th, 2034. In addition, the regional rail transport authorities have the right to to unilaterally exercise two extension options for one year each until the international timetable change in December 2035, probably on December 8th, 2035, or the international timetable change in December 2036, probably on December 13th, 2036. For the Electric new and/or used vehicles must be used to provide the transport service. The 'Rhein-Erft-Bahn' (RB 27) has the following route: Mönchengladbach Hbf - Rommerskirchen - Cologne Hbf - Troisdorf - Bonn-Beuel - Linz (Rhine) - Neuwied - Koblenz main station. The performance volume is approximately 2.5 million km per standard year.
