This notice of invitation to tender (AAO) follows the general procurement notice of the project published in Development Business online and on the Bank`s portal ( www.afdb.org ) dated 05 March 2018.

The Government of the Republic of Guinea has obtained the above-referenced loan from the African Development Bank (ADB) for the co-financing of the 225 KV Guinea-Mali Electric Interconnection Project (PIEGM). It is expected that part of the sums granted under this loan will be used to make payments under the Contract relating to the acquisition of a maintenance van workshop truck and a truck fitted with a nacelle + winch for the Electricité de Guinée company (EDG).

The Ministry of Energy of Guinea, represented by the Management Unit of the 225 kV Guinea - Mali Electric Interconnection Project (PIEGM) invites, by the present call for tenders, the tenderers admitted to participate in presenting their offers under fold closed, for the acquisition of a maintenance van workshop truck and a truck fitted with a nacelle + winch for the company Electricité de Guinée (EDG) in two (2) separate lots:

LOT1: One (1) van workshop truck for the maintenance of HV lines and substations

The tender documents may be purchased by the candidates, subject to payment of a non-refundable amount of seven hundred and fifty thousand (750, 000) Guinean francs or seventy-five (75) euro euros or the equivalent or the equivalent in a freely convertible currency.

Tenders must be deposited at the address indicated below at the latest on 08 September 2020 at 10 h 00 min (UTC / GMT) and be accompanied by a bank tender guarantee of an amount at least equal to:
