GENERAL NOTICE OF AWARD OF CONTRACTS

The Government of Burkina Faso has received a loan and a grant from the African Development Bank Group to finance the INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AND

FOR ADAPTING TO CLIMATE CHANGE IN THE NIGER BASIN (PIDACC / BN). The overall objective of PIDACC / BN is to contribute to improving the resilience of the ecosystems of the Niger river and of populations through sustainable management of natural resources.

Specifically, it aims to:

✓ Preserve the ecosystems of the Basin, in particular by reducing the silting up process of the Niger river and;

✓ Improve the resilience of production systems and populations

The PIDAACC / BN program is structured around the following three components:

✓ Development of the resilience of resources and ecosystems;

✓ Development of the resilience of populations;

✓ Coordination and management of the program in Burkina.

The acquisition of goods and services other than those of consultants, works and consultant services will be in accordance with the "Procurement framework for operations financed by the Bank Group", edition of October 2015, available on the Bank`s website at www.afdb.org.
