The property at Adolphsplatz 1 is the Neue Börse building in Hamburg, which is located in Hamburg's old town directly at the back of Hamburg City Hall. The stock exchange building is the headquarters of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce with office and Event spaces. The building consists of a central building and two side wing buildings that were later added to the original building. The central building was built in 1841 as the "New Stock Exchange" on the site of the previously demolished medieval one Mary Magdalene Monastery built; The building was the only one in the area that was spared from the devastating city fire of 1842. It will be fundamentally renovated in the next few years. Here the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce procures services from the Area of project management.
