The support is an integral part of the Regional Indicative Programme on EU Aid to West Africa (RIP) under the 11th EDF, the Joint Valetta Action Plan and the European Union`s commitment to strengthening the governance conditions and improving the mechanisms for maintaining peace and stability by combatting organized crime groups involved in illicit trafficking.
