The Djiboutian Government has received loan financing from the African Development Fund ADF of 7.5 million units of account in order to cover the cost of the support project for the realization of socio-economic infrastructure and the promotion of activities in the regions, and intends to use part of the sums granted under this loan to finance the contract for technical assistance to microfinance institutions.

Under the supervision of the Director of ADDS, the recruitment of this technical assistance aims to boost a sector for which the population is keen, but which still presents difficulties.

The tasks of the firm will be:

1. Take stock of the microfinance sector

2. Support the restructuring of the microfinance sector

3. Analyze operational risks

4. Evaluate the portfolio;

5. Strengthen the institutional capacities of actors in the sector

6. Provide support to the central bank of Djibouti.

As such, the Djiboutian Social Development Agency (ADDS), the project executing agency, invites firms to submit their candidacy in order to provide the services described above. Interested firms must produce information on their capacity and experience demonstrating that they are qualified for the services (documentation, reference of similar services, experience in comparable missions, availability of qualified personnel, etc.). Firms can join forces to increase their chances of qualification.
