Theobjective of this consultancy is to bridge the gap between policy adoption andpractical implementation in the clean cooking sector in Nigeria. Achieving thisrequires a multi-faceted approach:(i) Developingaccurate consumer profilingfor targeted interventions. By understanding the unique characteristics, preferences, and constraints of various consumer segments, initiatives can bemore effectively tailored to meet actual needs. (ii) Proposing business models that are suited to Nigeria-sdiverse communities/regions and aligning them to the different targetedconsumer groups. Such models must address both urban and rural contexts, and the wide arrange of socio-economic household profiles, while fosteringadaptability, affordability, and scalability. (iii) Ensuring robust financial andtechnical viabilitythroughout the entire clean cooking pipeline (spanning production, distribution, maintenance, and end-user support) is also paramount forsustained progress. (iv) Prioritizing solutions and market-baseddelivery models thatcan make significant strides toward widespread access to clean cookingtechnologies while raising private sector participation and contributing toenvironmental sustainability. (v) Identifying appropriate coordinationmechanisms across different stakeholders at both federal and state levels, streamlining resources, and driving collective impact in advancing Nigeria-sclean cooking agenda.
