On the roof of the I.N.O building, two refrigeration systems are available as interior devices with a refrigeration power of 270 kW each for the generation of cold water (6 C/12 C). The systems from 2006 with the refrigerant R407C (filling quantity 2x 135 kg) give the condensation heat over two two -circuit liquid from the surroundings. At high outside temperatures, overpressure disorders occur permanently and interrupt the necessary refrigeration supply of the building. Furthermore, one of the heat exchangers is leaking due to the environmental influences and age and therefore no longer ready for operation. A repair is not possible due to the damaged place. An exchange would also not be possible here, since a new heat exchanger with the inventory refrigerant R407C does not harmonize, since newer heat exchangers can harmonize / interpret the operation of old (no longer permissible or exhaustive calf). In order to fill the future requirements of the F-GAS regulation, only a complete exchange of the system technology makes sense. In the attic of the Marienkrankenhaus, part of the building house i.n.o, two refrigeration systems with a total of 540 kW are operated.
