Expression of Interest are invited for Technical Assistance To support Dna/Fcmu.
An Individual Consultant with appropriate workexperience and qualifications in project management in the water supp
ly and sanitation sector, will be specifically hired toprovide technical assistance to support DNA in handling the
oversight, coord ination, follow up and monitoring of variousrehabilitation and expansion projects in the water sector
throughout the country being financed by Development Partners and theGovernment of Angola (GoA), under close
coordination and management of the National Water D irector.
The Financial andContract Management Unit (FCMU) of the National Water Directorate (DNA) of the Ministry of Ener
gy and Water (MINEA) now inviteseligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services.
Interested in dividual consultants mustprovide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services
(description of similar ass ignments, experience insimilar conditions, etc.).
The Consultant must have the following qualifications:
The Consultant musthave a License Degree in Civil, Hydraulics or Sanitation Engineering; a post-graduation degree
and/or a certif ication in projectmanagement and/or relevant training courses in contract management will be a plus;
The Consultant musthave at least 15years working experience as a Project Manager in project and contract
management administration and at least 10 ye ars workingexperience in the field of water and sanitation sector.
Experience in implementation of internationally financed project s will bea plus;
The Consultant should have good computer skills in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); do main
ofother relevant engineering software (Ms Project, Autocad, etc.) will be a plus;
The Consultant should have workin gexperience in the field of the assignment; experience in CPLP countries, namely
in Angola will be a plus;
The Consultant should be fluent in Portuguese and have knowledge of English as working language.
