IFC seeks to recruit a Firm toprovide technical assistance to insurance companies in Mozambique for theestablishment or scaling of their climate/index insurance business. Thistechnical assistance will include support in the development of products, partnerships/distribution channels, and access to reinsurance solutions. TheFirm will also be required to support the design and delivery of IFC-s capacitybuilding activities, as well as awareness raising for index/climate insuranceamong farmers and other key stakeholders. To inform thetechnical assistance, the firm will conduct in-depth market research tofacilitate the mapping of key agricultural value chains and sizing of theopportunity for financing and insurance products that could be integrated intothese value chains. The Firm will coordinate closely with IFC clients to carry out thesetasks.
