According to Section 293 (7) SGB V, the GKV Spitzenverband and the German Hospital Society are commissioned to set up and operate a nationwide list of all doctors who are approved in accordance with Section 108 SGB V and their outpatient clinics.
The agreements on the type and structure of the Directory and the information contained, the procedure and the requirements for comparing the doctor's number with the Federal Medical Register, the update of the procedure as well as the factual and personnel requirements meet the GKV-Spitzenverband and the German hospital society in Agreement with the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV).
The object of the order is the transfer of the operating IT-technical solution (individual software) for a hospital doctor number list (Khanr-VZ), the ongoing technical operation with maintenance and support as well as the establishment a staffing office for continuous data maintenance and quality assurance.
The service contract has a five -year term with an extension option by another two years.
