Tender Details

Due to increasing passenger numbers and to improve the service, SWU Verkehr GmbH has ordered the extension of 18 Avenio tram vehicles. All 18 vehicles are to be extended by a good 11m, which is an increase of 38% passenger capacity of each vehicle means. Due to the extension of these vehicles, structural adjustment measures are required at various operational facilities that are necessary for the maintenance and upkeep of the vehicles in order to ensure their functionality these facilities can continue to be fulfilled. The individual measures affect Hall C with storage areas, company workshop and washing hall, as well as the central workshop (Hall E). Part of this tender includes the delivery services and Assembly of the contact line system for construction phase 2 in Hall E as well as new buildings, adjustments and conversion work in Hall C and the contact line work on the entire courtyard area and in the washing hall Catenary's construction works (CPV code: 45234160)
