SV-CNI-260703-004 - Fire protection upgrade for 4 subway stations, property planning Fire protection upgrade for 4 subway stations, property planning As part of the network-wide increase in fire protection, Stadtwerke München GmbH is planning to upgrade the station package No.:7 the train stations Messestadt Ost, Messestadt West, Am Hart and Frankfurter Ring. The measures are based on station-specific fire protection concepts and essentially include the following services. 1. Installation of at least fire-retardant, floor-to-ceiling enclosures in front of the stairways of the train stations. Doors (fire-retardant, smoke-tight and self-closing) are provided in the enclosures, which close automatically when the smoke detectors are activated. 2. Smoke aprons 3. Gallery glazing or partition wall included. Door systems for smoke-tight separation from the platform 4. Installation of an electro-acoustic loudspeaker system including automatic voice announcement (ELA-AS) in the respective train stations including connection to the fire alarm system. 5. Adjustment of the existing cladding (e.g. ceiling cladding), security technology, lighting and signage.
