SV-CNI-260703-001 - Fire protection upgrade of 4 subway stations, structural planning Fire protection upgrade of 4 subway stations, structural planning As part of the network-wide increase in fire protection, Stadtwerke München GmbH is planning the station package No.:7 Upgrading of the Messestadt Ost, Messestadt West, Am Hart and Frankfurter Ring train stations. The measures are based on station-specific fire protection concepts and essentially include the following services. 1. Installation of at least fire-retardant, floor-depth Enclosures in front of the stairways of the train stations. Doors (fire-retardant, smoke-tight and self-closing) are provided in the enclosures, which close automatically when the smoke detectors are activated. 2. Smoke aprons 3. Gallery glazing or partition wall including door systems for smoke-tight separation from the platform 4. Installation of an electro-acoustic loudspeaker system including automatic voice announcement (ELA-AS) in the respective train stations including connection to the fire alarm system. 5. Adjustment of the Existing cladding (e.g. ceiling cladding), security technology, lighting and signage.
