At the Poccistraße subway station, extensive structural and electrical engineering work is being carried out on several levels (platform, mezzanine and barrier floors). This includes structural improvements to the vaulted ceilings, renovations and adjustments technical infrastructure and the expansion of safety-relevant systems. The construction site logistics are carried out via restricted inner-city access, elevators with limited load capacity and rail transport. The execution is carried out in three construction phases temporary full closures and single-track operation. During Oktoberfest, all safety systems must be fully operational; Construction work is suspended during this period. All transport, access and work processes are restricted due to cramped conditions Space conditions, parallel measures from other trades and additional external construction sites must be particularly coordinated.
