Tenders are invited for Sustainable Agriculture Specialist - Program for the Promotion of Agro-Ecological Cropping Systems and Soil Protection in Mali
Develop and Disseminate Agroecological Agriculture and Water and Soil Conservation (Ces) Practices in Areas Dependent on Rainfed Agriculture in Mali. The Targeted Intervention Regions are as Follows: Sikasso; Koutiala; Bougouni, Kayes; Nioro of the Sahel; Kita; Koulikoro; Dioila. The Implementation of Paesol is Planned for a Period of Five (5) Years from August 2022 to December 2026.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· At least 10 years of professional experience in rural development in Mali. Knowledge of working in the regions of the Program would be an added advantage.
· Specific experiences in the following areas:
o Agriculture, forestry, agroforestry, erosion control.
o Popularization and technical follow-up.
o Mastery of the participatory approach and social engineering.
o Proficiency in local languages and French.
