ISCO security wishes to request interested companies to quote for the above-mentioned items and services whose terms of reference detailed below.
Lot 1 Ordinary uniforms: 2, 190 pairs
High-quality collar
The collar-s cuts should be highly symmetrical, which includes straight and fine stitching along the edges
The collar should also be flexible and not easily creased when bent. In addition, the shape of the collar must always be natural in its curvature and purely symmetrical in the front and backside and it should also go with a right tie knot as well according to its shape
Fabric
The fabric should range between 50 to 200 threads per inch. Materials used should include cotton of a minimum of 35%. The shrinkage rate of the material should not be more than 65%
Buttons
The material of the buttons should be resistant to color degradation and have depth in shine. they should be thick
Perfectly finished buttonholes
Buttonholes should come with stitches that are perfectly aligned along the hole-s curvature and have no loose threads around them whatsoever.
Buttons should be sewn to the shirt with a crisscross ‘X” shape using the lock-stitching technique, which utilizes two intertwined threads for sewing
Clean stitching
The stitching in the seams should be double, precise, and smooth, with at least 16 stitches per inch in the collar areas. Note that the stitching lines must not be visible from the outside but from the inside meaning the seams must be extremely tight and narrow when sewn with a single needle.
Spare Buttons
Spare buttons are extra accessories that come with good quality garments. The garment should be well equipped if a replacement is needed
NB: All materials used in the collar or hat/cap prop should be washable (water-friendly) without permanent alteration to rigidity and straightness in less than at least 20 washes
The interested bidder should submit the following requirements.
Administrative Requirements on Ordinary uniforms
Copy of RDB Certificate (Certificate of Domestic Company Registration)
Valid tax clearance
3 completion certificates from previous customers/ Contracts
Administrative Requirements on dry cleaner services and tire engraving machine
Copy of RDB Certificate (Certificate of Domestic Company Registration)
Important Information
Bidders are allowed to quote for all Lots or 1 Lot
The successful bidder will be given a 2-years framework contract
Quotation for uniforms should come with samples
Submission of bids:
Bids should be submitted at ISCO Reception not later than 13th /11/2020 at 10:00 am.
Bids will be opened in public on 13th/11/2020 at 10:10 am.
