Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Medical Equipment for Endoscopy Unit at Dr. A.G. Jeetoo Hospital.

Bids on appropriate forms are invited from qualified and eligible local bidders for the Supply, Installation and
Commissioning of Medical Equipment for Endoscopy Unit at Dr. A.G. Jeetoo Hospital.

4. Any clarification sought by any bidder shall be addressed in writing to the Senior Chief Executive, Ministry of
Health and Quality of Life, 10th Floor, Emmanuel Anquetil Building, SSR Street, Port Louis, Attn: Manager
Procurement and Supply, Fax No. 211 6864/211 6850 so as to reach him at least fourteen (14) days before
the deadline for the submission of the bids.
5. Bids in sealed envelope clearly marked “Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Medical Equipment
for Endoscopy Unit at Dr. A.G. Jeetoo Hospital, Reference: MHPQ/NP/EQ/ENDOSJEETOO/2017-
2018/Q229” and indicating the closing date should be addressed to the Senior Chief Executive, Ministry of
Health and Quality of Life and deposited in the Bid Box at the under-mentioned address or sent by Courier
Service or Registered Mail so as to reach the Senior Chief Executive, Ministry of Health and Quality of
Life on or before Wednesday 04 July 2018 up to 10 00 hours (local time) at latest.

6. Bids will be opened in the Conference Room of the Ministry of Health and Quality of Life on the same
day at 10.15 hours in the presence of bidders/bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.
7. The Ministry of Health and Quality of Life reserves the right to:-
(a) accept or reject any bid; and
(b) reject all bids or cancel the public procurement proceedings, at any time prior to acceptance of a
bid as per provision of Section 39(1) of the Public Procurement Act 2006.
