Quotation are invited for Supply of a Fuel Truck

SPECIFICATION
1.2.1 TANK:
Model: Cardinal Combo - Rear bucket box style - Rated Capacity (6000) gallons.
Tank Construction: Elliptical design fabricated from bright polished aluminum. Tank construckted with a .313 thick floor. The sides and top of the tank are to be of .190 material. All baffles, heads and bulkheads are to be .210. Cross
members are installed at all heads and baffles. All heads and baffles will be dished and flanged. A DOT 406 certificate of compliance will be issured. Compartments: (2) compartments . 2000 gallons of gasoline // 4000 gallons of diesel

Bulkheads: Double bulkhead construction. Heads are dished and flanged for maximum strength and to meet D.O.T. MC-406 regulations. Surgeheads installed and spaced to D.O.T. specifications.

Underframe: Extruded “L” type sill welded to tank bottom. Crossmembers are installed at each surgehead and bulkhead. Outriggers are standard on tanks 2500 gallons or larger.

Flashing: Full length double legged leak proof extruded aluminum overturn rails to meet D.O.T. MC-406. May be used as vapor recovery header. Expanded aluminum metal between rails. The overturn protection of the tank will be
separate from the tank shell.

Flashing Drains: Two external 1-1/2” O.D. drains at front of tank.

Manholes: 16” manholes with 10” fills. D.O.T. MC-406 approved venting.

Calibration: Marker rod installed in each compartment and set to rated capacity

Cabinet: (1) 48” aluminum 2 door cabinet installed on driver side

Discharge Lines: Tank has 3” aluminum sumps in each compartment with 3” air operated emergency valves. Emergency valve operator install in rear bucket box and front fire release install streetside front. Discharge lines to be piped to side ending in Bottom Loading flanges. 2” piping to rear for installation of dry
break adapters.

Permanent Pipes: Four 2” pipelines ( 2-suction and 2-discharge ) with victaulic grooves at both ends for dual pumping system.

Bucket Box: Sloping aluminum cabinent raised floor to enclose faucets. Single rear lift door with gas springs. Hose door outlet each side with stainless steel paddle handles.

Bumper: The rear bumper will be fabricated from 5/16” extruded aluminum. The bumper is polished finish and exceeds DOT regulations.

Ladder: One ladder with small platform inatll in rear of tank. Ladder will be install on drivers side rear. Additional ladder driver-s side front of tank. Fenders: Jeep style aluminum fenders. Fenders are bolted on for ease of replacement
if damaged.

Lights: A Betts Valox lighting package will be installed on tank. All lighting will be wired into weatherproof tubing and junction boxes. It will include: Four clearance lights ( two red and two amber ), one three ligth bar, a model S200
with itegral reflectors, on B40JL taillight/sealed beam back up light, two B40 Cluster lghts on rear head and a B-50D meter delivery light. All lighting conforms to DOT FMVSS-MC108 regulations. All lighting will be LED.

Finish: Aluminum left in bright finish. Steel parts painted.
Mounting: Tank to conform to DOT mounting procedures. Composite material mount boards installed between chassis frame and tank sill. Front of tank is spring loaded to allow for flex of the frame behind the cab.

Bottom Loading: Install 3” piping to curbside with 4” openable API adapters with sight bubble and air brake interlock. Bucket box models have 2” lines to rear. Deflectors are installed over emergency valves. 4” API dust cap supplied
for each adapter.

Vapor Recovery: Stubs installed in curb side flashing rail, off set manholes with 3” Civacon air vent and vapor hood, connector hose between vent and rail. 4” adapter with dust cap and air brake interlock at VP outlet. Air valve installed on emergency valve operator to activate vents. Includes EPA method 27
tightness test.

High Level Sensors: Civacon control box for high level sensors. Includes optic and thermister sockets and ground plug
