Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Supply of a 5th Diesel Generator 20 MW on the Site Gorou- Banda.

1. The invitation to tender follows the general procurement notice for this project which has been published on UNDB online, on the website of the African Development Bank Group and in the Sahel newspaper .

2. The Republic of Niger has received financing from the African Development Bank in various currencies to finance the Rural, Peri-Urban and Urban Electrification Project (PEPERN) which it has surrendered to the Nigerian Electricity Company. (Nigelec). It is expected that part of the products of this funding is applied to eligible regulations part of the market for the supply of a 5 thdiesel generator 20 MW on the site Gorou- Banda.

3. Nigelec hereby invites closed bids from eligible bidders for the performance of the work of: Supply, installation and commissioning of a diesel genset 20

MW within 18 months.This work consists mainly of:

• The supply and installation of a semi - rapid 20 MW genset on the existing massif;

• Supply and installation of a withdrawal transformer for the said generator;

• The adaptation of the existing massifsprovided for auxiliariesde slice of said generator;

• The adaptation of the control room and technical rooms to new equipment;

• Update of Auxiliary buildings;

• Extension of existing water and fire circuits;

• Strengthening of the fuel transfer and transfer system and lubrication;

• Reinforcement of superheated water systems and compressed air;

• The supply and installation of the 53 MVA - 11 kV / 132 kV step-up transformer;

• The connection of the step-up transformer to the existing 132 kV GIS busbar after expansion;

• Provision and installation of a rescue group;

• Supply and installation of a radio communication system to integrate the existing;

• Integration with existing systems of SCADA at the plant and the lift station;

• Provision of various tools; parts for revisions, spare parts and consumables.
