Expression of Interest are invited for Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Grain and Oilseed Moisture Analysis Computer.
1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no: IsDB26-09/13 of 3rd September 2013.

2. The Government of the Republic of The Gambia has secured a US$27.37million Istisna’a and US$0.63million Loan, from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB). The proceeds of the Istisna’a and the Loan will be used to finance the Enhancing Value Addition in the Groundnut Sector Project, henceforth referred to as the Project. Additional Financing is provided by the Government of The Gambia by way of counterpart funding to the tune of US$2.00million, to give a total Project Cost of US$30.00million. The Gambian Agency for the Management of Public Works, on behalf of the Gambia Groundnut Corporation (GGC) intends to PRE-QUALIFY Suppliers for the supply of quality testing equipment and kits through Limited International Bidding (LIB). It is expected that Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be launched by November 2016.

3. The quality test equipment and kits is to improve the quality testing procedures at the depots and during the processing cycle. The kits will have the ability for quantitative analysis of Aflatoxin B1, B2, M1, G1 and other aflatoxins in peanuts (Aflatoxin Total Rapid Test kits).

5. The EOI is through LIMITED INTERNATIONAL BIDDING (LIB) PROCEDURES.
6. In the EOI, interested Suppliers are required to express interest to supply any or all of the above items, including their Company profile, Information on past experience and other relevant information under a cover letter. The RFQ will be in two lots comprising the Equipment and the Test Kits.
7. Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information at the address given below from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00pm, Monday to Thursday.
8. EOIs should be submitted either by email or in sealed envelopes, delivered to the address below by Monday 17th October 2016 and be clearly marked “EOI for the Supply of Quality Testing Equipment and Kits. Late Applications will be rejected.
9. Applications received by the deadline will be evaluated and the results of the application communicated to the applicants. All shortlisted Suppliers will be forwarded the Request for Quotation (RFQ).
