Botswana Power Corporation invites tenders from suitably qualified companies for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of a 40MVA 220/11kV Power Transformer. Bidders must be PPADB registered with Code 02-02 (Electrical Engineering Works) and Code 203-01 (Electrical Supplies) The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is Botswana Power Corporation Procurement Office, Plot 1222, Nkrumah road, Light Industrial site, Gaborone. In line with Citizen Economic Empowerment (CEE) this tender is open to both citizen and foreign owned companies. Foreign owned companies who wish to participate in this tender should subcontract 40% or more of the technical work (relative to the value of the tender) to citizen owned companies. A non-refundable tender documentation fee of Five Hundred Pula (P500.00) or Two Hundred and Fifty Pula (P250.00) for companies wholly owned by the Youth payable in cash at the Botswana Power Corporation Headquarters, Macheng Way, Gaborone is required upon collection of the tender documents. Sealed tenders are to be submitted on or before 10:00 AM on the 02 October 2019 and should be placed in the tender box situated in the Supply Chain Procurement Office at the above address.
