Tender Eligibility

This tender is reserved to 100% Citizen Owned Companies of the Republic of Botswana.

In order to participate in this tender, bidders should be registered with PPADB code Proof of Accreditation to PPADB. 1. Code 02 - Electrical Engineering Works, Sub Code 01 - Electrical Installations and 2. Code 203 Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical and ICT Equipment., subcode 01 Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Spares and Accessories (includes ICT, photographic equipment, and others)

Tenders are required to attend a compulsory site visit in order to familiarize themselves with the site, scope of works and conditions under which the works are to be executed. The compulsory site visit is scheduled at 8:30 AM at Morupule B on 24th May 2022. Bidders should arrive on time as a compulsory SHE orientation is scheduled for 09:00 AM. Bidders are expected to arrange their own transportation for the site visit. This is the only date set for the site visit and no arrangements on individual basis shall be permitted. Prospective bidders are expected to bring their own Personal Protective Equipment comprising of reflective overalls, safety boots, ear plugs, masks and helmets at a bare minimum for the site visit. Any bidder without PPE shall not be permitted to enter the site.

Issue date for this tender is from 12 May 2022 from 0800am- 1300 and 1400-1630pm. Sealed tenders are to be submitted on or before 10:00am on the 10 June 2022 and should be placed in the tender box situated in the Supply Chain (Procurement) Office at the above address.
