Tenders are invited for Supply and Delivery of Protective Clothing for Hukuntsi Sub-District Council.
TENDER OFFERS ARE INVITED for the provision of protective clothing for Hukuntsi Sub-District Council Departments. This is a framework contract. The tender will be evaluated as per the price preference, as directed by Local Procurement Scheme Presidential Directive CAB 19(B) 2013. The Procuring Entity is Finance and Development Planning (Procurement Division) - Hukuntsi Sub-District Council. Bidders who are domiciled in Botswana shall, in order to be considered for award of the contract, be appropriately licensed to trade, manufacture, and/or supply the items and be in possession of requisite documentation to import, manufacture and/or sell such items according to the Trade and Industrial Acts and Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board (PPADB) Certificate in Code: 211 - General Supplies, Sub-Code: 04 - Clothing Apparels and Fabrics. Tenderers who are domiciled in Botswana must, in order to be eligible for consideration for award of this tender, meet the following requirements: • Submit proof of payment of annual fees for Trading Licence. • Tenderers must be in possession of Tax Identification Number (TIN) and should have a valid Tax Clearance Certificate for tender purposes. • Tenderers should have registered with PPADB Registration Certificate in Code: 211 - General Supplies, Sub-Code: 04 - Clothing Apparels and Fabrics. The prices should be quoted in Botswana Pula. In cases where a bidder fails to submit the following documents; Copy of Tax Clearance, Copy of PPADB Registration Certificate, Form of Authority of Signatory and Signed Declaration of Directors and Shareholders Form, they will be requested to do so during tender evaluation within 2-5 days of notification. Bidders will be notified through telephone or email as an alert then by fax or postal letter. Failure by a bidder to submit the missing documents as notified within 2-5 days will then lead to disqualification of the respective bidder from further evaluation. Payment and collection of documents shall be made during working days between 0730 hours and 1245 hours and from 1345 hours to 1530 hours, except during holidays and weekends, with effect from 25th February, 2019 to 22nd March, 2019. A non-refundable tender fee of BWP100.00 (One Hundred Pula only) payable in cash made out to Hukuntsi Sub-District Council shall be paid at Council Revenue Office No. M018 located at the Rural Administration Centre in Hukuntsi. Youth companies shall acquire Tender Documents at a charge of 50% of selling price, that is, P50.00 (Fifty Pula only) as per the Presidential Directive CAB 14(B) 2015. However, the following will be needed as proof of evidence from the 100% youth owned companies as to confirm ownership: certified copies of Identity Card, Shares Certificate, company document being Form 2 and Form 13, if there is any change as well as a letter from Youth Authorities confirming the status of company. Proof of payment is required in order to collect Tender Document.
